Tasmanian
Bus Trip.
The
coming of June saw the
TASBUS Conference in Hobart and brought with it the opportunity
for KLA to leave warmer climates and head into the southern cooler
climate to display the 6126 AU School / Charter bus at the
Conference. Indeed it was a first for TASBUS to have a vehicle on
display at and during the conference, and the vehicle
was well received. The 6126 was used for transporting the various
bus operators from around the State for the "Mystery Tour" day
event and was, says Craig Coulter, State Sales Manager for KLA,
"a very gutsy move, as the operators had only seen the vehicle
for the first time as they stepped on board". "This shows the
confidence that we have in our product and that it could handle
the on-road inspection of even the most fastidious customers"
says Craig. Following the TASBUS Conference, the KLA team drove
the vehicle around the Island State visiting many customers and
doing several road trials along the way. "We are extremely happy
to support the Tasmanian operators and association, and are
grateful they gave us the chance to show them what we can do, says
Craig".
