6126AU Road
Trial

King Long Australia launched its first vehicle the 6126 AU School/
Charter bus in December 2007 and has quickly followed it up with a
road trial through most Australian states. "The
road trial is important to us because not only do we have the
opportunity to show off our vehicles first hand to our customers,
but it gives them and us confidence that our vehicles can handle
the harsh Australian conditions",
states Craig Coulter State Sales Manager VIC & TAS.
The road trial
is being conducted through South Australia, Victoria, New South
Wales and Queensland and is being conducted on both off-road and
highway conditions to evaluate the vehicles performance over a
range of conditions. "We
are reducing the incidence of failure by
finding any potential weakness's with our rigid QA system while the vehicles are in
production".
The road trial
is already underway and has gone through most Victorian country
regional centres and has been give the 'thumbs' up by nearly
all operators. In fact Don Joyce from Wangaratta Bus Lines has
stated "I was impressed
at the quality and styling and level of
vehicle specification".
The 6126 AU School/Charter bus has now completed a tour through
the southern regional areas of New South Wales and is now making
its way through to Sydney and then onto Queensland where Graham
Weekley State Sales Manager for SA, NSW & QLD will take over
the helm.
