Continue reading »]]> A recent article in the ABC magazine suggested that Heavy Vehicles Australia and King Long buses were part of a move to form a separate group to represent Chinese importers. this is not correct. This is not, nor has it ever been, our position.

Heavy Vehicles Australia are a member of BIC and believe that both our company’s and the industry’s objectives are best served by active participation in a unified group. While BIC embraces the diversity of suppliers and operators and pursues a mutually beneficial agenda we will continue to attend, sponsor and participate on as many levels as we can.

has decided to do our bit for men’s health by encouraging everyone in the company to participate this year, thumbs up to all our fellow staff members by signing up as Mo Bros to grow moustache together.

Continue reading »]]> King Long attends BUSWORLD Kortrijk 2011 this month, with 5 models on display in the largest exhibition booth of 600 SQM;  the display includes a luxury tourist bus, city bus and new suburban bus.

King Long, was the first manufacturer  to develop export business in Chinese bus industry, beginning in 2000. They entered the EU market in 2005 and were awarded the “Grand BAAV Award – Bus builder of the year”. With 7 models now approved to WVTA (EU standard) by end of 2010 and additional 2 new models in 2011, King Long will export more than 500 buses to EU market in 2011.

Continue reading »]]> It is just over 1 month since 174 new King Long low floor buses went into service in Malta. The Malta government is pleased with the performance of the buses, and has commented that the smooth operation of King Long buses in Malta was a milestone for King Long in the European market.

These 174 King Long low floor buses are equipped with E5 engines, ECAS system, and new chassis technology from King Long to suit the narrow, bumpy winding road conditions in Malta.
